        Charging stops needed

This is the estimated number of charging stops that you will need on your route.

Only actually existing charging points are considered with shortest possible detours and an initial charge level of 100%. The information on charging stops and duration assumes free and working charging points and is subject to the assumption that charging stops are approached with at least 10% remaining charge level.

High-power charging stations (e.g. From the IONITY network) are preferred because they charge your vehicle with the maximum capacity.

        Total charging time

This is the total time that you will probably need for charging along your route.

Charge level of battery at arrival

The figure indicated is the remaining charge level of the battery on arrival, with a 100% battery charge level at the start of the journey.

        Total journey time incl. charging

The journey time indicated is the sum of estimated driving time plus charging time if charging breaks are required along your route.

It is assumed that you are travelling on the fastest route without any traffic hold-ups or other delays.

        Total journey time

The stated journey time is the estimated travel time. We have assumed that you are taking the fastest route, without traffic obstructions or other delays.

The range and charging capacity depends on the state of charge, ambient temperature, individual driving profile and use of auxiliary consumers as well as the selected vehicle itself. The charging times apply to ambient temperatures of 23° C after the previous journey and can vary according to usage behavior. The values shown are calculated values for the basic configuration of the selected model. Values may differ for other trim levels of the vehicle.

        High-power charging station

You can charge your vehicle particularly quickly at a high-power charging station (e.g. such as those in the IONITY network). The direct current (DC) provided at these stations offers significantly higher charging capacities than with alternating current (AC), such as that supplied by a domestic socket. This is why high-power charging stations such as these are especially suitable for charging when travelling.

In the display, you can see the minimum time needed to charge from 10% to 80% of the battery charge level with maximum vehicle charging capacity. Within this range, charging is fastest and also preserves the battery.

A look at the map shows you the network of high-power charging stations.

        Fast charging station

If you need to act quickly in the city or while travelling, a fast charging station is just the right choice. This is because the direct current (DC) provided at these stations offers higher charging capacities than with alternating current (AC), such as that supplied by a domestic socket. . This is why fast charging stations such as these are especially suitable for charging when you are travelling.

In the display, you can see the minimum time needed to charge from 10% to 80% of the battery charge level with up to 50 kW output. Within this range, charging is fastest and also preserves the battery.

A look at the map shows you the network of fast charging station.

        AC charging station

You will find public charging stations with alternating current (AC) almost everywhere. They are especially suitable for regular charging over longer periods of time – such as overnight or while you are at work.

In the display, you will find the minimum time for charging from 0-100% battery charge level with a maximum output of 22 kW. The charging performance depends on the equipment options for the vehicle.

Take a look at the map and discover the network of charging stations with alternating current.

        Home Charging

        Wallbox / Flexible Fast Charger

At home you can charge your BMW with a Wallbox or the Flexible Fast Charger.

Alternating current (AC) is used for both. Depending on the vehicle, special equipment and market, the Wallbox provides a maximum charging output of 22 kW, the Flexible Fast Charger a maximum of 11 kW.

In the display, you will see the minimum time for charging from 0-100% battery charge level with an output of 11 kW.

        Domestic socket

Charge your BMW conveniently at any time from a socket at home. This uses alternating current (AC). In the display, you will see the minimum time for charging from 0-100% battery charge level with an output of 2.3 kW.

Use a BMW Wallbox to charge your vehicle at home quickly, safely and conveniently whenever you wish.

        Filter charging stations

Charging power depends on the state of charge, ambient temperature, individual driving profile, the use of auxiliary consumers, and the chosen vehicle. The charging times apply to ambient temperatures of 23 C following previous driving, and may differ depending on usage behaviour. The figures shown represent suggested figures for the basic configuration of the selected model. These figures may differ for vehicles with a different equipment specification.
